Sub-skills, pre/during/post tasks, authentic/adapted materials, comprehension and strategy instruction.

Practical work: Create a receptive-skills lesson.

04Teaching Speaking & Writing

Fluency/accuracy, interaction, pronunciation awareness, writing process, feedback and task design.

Practical work: Deliver a speaking task and mark a writing sample using a rubric.

05Lesson Planning, Management & Assessment

Objectives, staging, timing, grouping, differentiation, formative assessment and online teaching.

Practical work: Build a complete 60-minute ELT lesson plan.

06Observed Teaching Capstone

Micro-teaching, observation, feedback, reflective practice, learner progress and professional development.

Practical work: Complete a final observed ELT lesson and teaching portfolio.
